Dịch vụ FortiGuard IPS giúp FortiGate-60E hoạt động như một hệ thống chống xâm nhập mạnh mẽ:
- Chữ ký Tấn công Cập nhật Liên tục: FortiGuard Labs có một đội ngũ nghiên cứu chuyên biệt, liên tục phân tích các mối đe dọa toàn cầu và phát hành các chữ ký tấn công (signature) mới. Gói dịch vụ này đảm bảo FortiGate-60E của bạn nhận được các bản cập nhật chữ ký này theo thời gian thực (24/7), giúp bảo vệ ngay lập tức trước các lỗ hổng vừa được công bố (zero-day hoặc n-day).
- Phát hiện và Ngăn chặn Chủ động: IPS kiểm tra sâu (Deep Packet Inspection) lưu lượng mạng ở cấp độ gói tin, so sánh với cơ sở dữ liệu chữ ký để tìm kiếm các dấu hiệu của hành vi khai thác lỗ hổng, quét cổng (port scanning), hoặc các hành vi tấn công mạng khác.
- Hỗ trợ Bảo vệ Hệ thống Kế thừa (Legacy Systems): Ngay cả khi các máy chủ hoặc ứng dụng cũ không thể được vá lỗi kịp thời, IPS hoạt động như một lớp "vá lỗi ảo" (Virtual Patching), ngăn chặn các traffic độc hại nhắm vào lỗ hổng đó.
